Sue Cobussen

Sue is the owner and founder of Creature Comfort. Some background: Sue grew up in Amsterdam, New York, on a farm; her first friends were her animals, including dogs, a cat, rabbits, a pig and a calf to play with and take care of. She even had her own pony at the age of 8. One of her first jobs was as a receptionist at a large animal hospital in Upstate NY, where she worked with many areas and aspects of the hospital: from the routine care of animals to emergencies. Sue has participated in showing horses and dogs for many years, and has raised, shown and bred champion Giant Schnauzers. Both the mother Ch. Skansen's Windmill's Winner and her son Ch. Windmill's Chase Manhattan were entered and competed in the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, as well as the Eukanuba National Championship Dog. Chase has been in the top 10 in the nation for the last 5 years and has sired a litter of puppies. Sue has experience with dog training and has worked on animal behavior with her own dogs and her clients' pets. In addition, Sue has groomed her own show dogs for the last 10 years and has grooming experience with many breeds.

Sue is a member of the Humane Society.
